Aliases in the Wonderland of ThingsBoard

Hi!
One of the most frequently asked questions and the one from the "help, urgent issue" top of our support's mailbox is dedicated to aliases. It happens (almost always) the issue is caused by misconfiguration of datasources for dashboards.

So, share, appreciate or just watch our new e-lesson from free ThingsBoard online education course. This is the first part. To be continued.

Do not hesitate to put your questions in this blog, on our YouTube channel or wherever you are convenient (but make sure we can reach your request).

May the things board with you.

Life of IoT

Just wanted to add a bit of humor in this blog.
IoT can be fun.
At least in things we trust.
What do you think, will your smart machine have own account on social media?

iioote and ThingsBoard announces Technical Partnership to reduce time to market

Gothenburg 2019-05-14

iioote AB enters a technical partnership with ThingsBoard, Inc. to strengthen the common offering of IoT solutions using the advanced ThingsBoard IoT Platform, i.e. ThingsBoard Professional Edition, including support for the leading LPWAN standard, LoRaWANTM.

The cooperation with best-in-class vendors is a part of iioote global course and mission of contributing to Sweden's goal to be the best in the world to use the potential of digitalization.

“During our evaluation of several different IoT platforms we decided using ThingsBoard Community Edition to quickly get started with testing of our concept solutions. Since it offers an easy way to get access to data from all our sensors and supports building dashboards for visualization. However, we soon discovered that ThingsBoard also fulfilled our need to build commercial services. With increasing number of sensors, customers and requirements we have migrated to ThingsBoard Professional Edition with a lot more functionality for larger deployments and multiple customers. And we will add additional servers as our customers grow”.
Bertil Moberg, Head of IoT Solutions at iioote

“ThingsBoard customers are found globally and we need local partners to give the best possible support in many countries and regions. We are involved in multiple discussions with both large and small companies based in Sweden and Scandinavia as well and need a partner with deep cutting-edge know-how regarding IoT and LPWAN. iioote was undoubtedly the natural choice. Our combined efforts will offer enhanced solutions to customers with a best-in-class IoT platform. The co-operation will enable further support in the Nordic region and increase our market presence to become the de-facto standard for IoT platform”.
Andrew Shvayka, CEO of ThingsBoard

Letter of appreciation: 3K stars on GitHub

This text is addressed to all of you who made this possible — today ThingsBoard passed 3000 stars mark on GitHub. Fellows, thank you for your support and trust. Those 67 contributors (and we believe the community will expand) — you are incredible.

You know what is also hidden under this stars? A small yet (but firm already) ecosystem based on TB. For less than 3 years ThingsBoard gathered numerous partners, hundreds of customers and more than 3k server installations as well. It’s been an incredible adventure so far, and we’re excited for the road ahead. Our next goal with your help — catch up Google chrome or Kubernetes which are among the most ranked repositories on GitHub.

In things we trust.
